MOAA is the Military Officers Association of America, a nonprofit, apolitical military association that lobbies Congress and fights for the earned pay and benefits of all service personnel. The Department of Defense is often forced to limit and even eliminate benefits for reasons ranging from sequestration to force reduction. Countering this problem is MOAA, with about 400,000 members. MOAA is the most respected and influential veterans service organization that takes on this challenge. MOAA lobbies Congress with facts to protect earned benefits! MOAA is responsible for “wins” such as Tricare For Life, pay equality, the post 9-11 GI Bill, the repeal of COLA-1%, and numerous major medical benefits for all service personnel.
