Dear Star Spangled Banner Chapter Member

The State and most Counties/Balt. City have relaxed restrictions for recreation, medical facilities and some businesses but large gatherings over 10 persons are still prohihibited.  Therefore our June 10 SSB Chapter Meeting at L'Hirondelle Club is still uncertain!  Expect a final decision in early June! 

You can still make reservations now and if the event is cancelled they will be honored for our September 2 event or refunded as desired.  You have the option of paying either by mailing a check or paying online.  Click on the link to the current Newsletter below, find the reservation form, print it out and mail.  Or, click on the website below, find the chapter event and pay with your credit/debit card through our PayPal Account.  If you don't have a PayPal Account, simply click the link to pay with a credit or debit card.

Message from paws4vets:  "May is Military Appreciation Month.  We want to use this opportunity to say thank you to all of our Veterans out there from each branch.  Since 2008, our paws4vets program has been dedicated to serving Veterans and Military dependents. At ADDIE'S Way we are developing the nation's first campus for K9 Centric Post Traumatic Growth and at full capacity ADDIE'S Way will be able to service 22 clients at a time, including Veterans living with PTSD and other mental & physical disabilities.
Thank you again to all Military personnel for your service, we appreciate you."

All Memorial Day events are cancelled but Cemetaries, including Arlington will be open.

The Baltimore Sun reported - President Trump will recognize Memorial Day at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Baltimore, the White House confirmed Wednesday.  Defense Secretary Mark Esper, Interior Secretary David Bernhardt and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley are also expected to attend.  Fort McHenry, the site of a War of 1812 battle that inspired the poem that became the U.S. National Anthem,  the Star Spangled Bannerremains closed to the public.
