Our byword is "Camaraderie with a purpose."  Our purpose is to advocate for and contribute to retired and active service members, making sure all---regardless of branch or rank---receive earned benefits. To that end, these are our top priorities, all equal.

ROTC/JROTC
The ROTC/JROTC programs are supported by our $25 annual dues which fund the Army Officer Guides presented to newly commissioned 2nd lieutenants and MOAA certificates and medals presented to cadets that show exceptional potential for leadership.

Paws4Vets
Our chapter makes donations to and supports the paws4vets assistance dog placement program where veterans, service members, and dependents can receive specially trained assistance dogs for critical disabilities.  Our annual paws4vets fundraiser and continuous interaction with the paws4vets organization and the paws4people Foundation (parent organization) is our major benefit, raising thousands of dollars annually for veterans in serious need.  More information here.

Legislative Activities
We support the Maryland Council's legislative efforts and priorities, especially the goal of 100% Maryland tax-free military retired pay.  We also vigorously suppot MOAA's "One Powerful Voice" with theqir many key legislative efforts in Congress that benefit all veterans and active duty service personnel of all seven services!
