Johns Hopkins Army ROTC Color Guard support annual banquet






The Johns Hopkins Army ROTC Color Guard supported the Annual Star Spangled Banner Chapter banquet. Led by Cadet Austin Rogers, from UMBC and an Infantry selectee was in charge and is a History and Anthropology Major.  He has worked extensively with personnel at the Fort and coordinated the uniforms. He is also shown cutting the 54th Birthday cake (as the youngest member) with our oldest member CMDR (Ret) Wally Dann, USN. 

The Johns Hopkins Army ROTC Ranger Challenge Team finished second out of 45 teams at the 4thBrigade Ranger Challenge competition at Ft. Pickett, VA from 19-21 October 2018. The competition is a day long event that tasks the Cadets physically, mentally, and emotionally with long foot marches, individual skills such as marksmanship, land navigation, and grenade employment, as well as general military knowledge.

The Loyola University Maryland Army ROTC program fielded a team to compete in the Service Academy/ROTC Division at the annual Army Ten Miler race in Washington, DC on 07 October 2018. The team competed in the nations largest 10-mile road race. Afterwards, they got to meet the Commanding General for US Army Cadet Command, MG John Evans and the Command Sergeant MajorMario Terenas.

The Cadets of the McDaniel College Army ROTC program begin their fall semester by training on the vital skills of land navigation. Throughout the year, Cadets will learn land navigation in the classroom, practice at local training areas throughout Maryland and then be tested this coming summer at Advanced Camp at Fort Knox, KY.

Recruiting high quality and talented young men and women is the lifeblood of any ROTC program. Morgan State Army ROTC continues to attract incredible young men and women. LTC Willie Rodney presents Cadet Elijah Williams of Coppin State University with a large check to celebrate his scholarship and commitment to becoming a United States Army officer.
